Polar Bait supplies  a wide range of fishing bait including pilchards, coral prawns, squid, octopus, garfish, mullet, herring, yellowtail, worms and gents.

In Western Australia we are fortunate enough to have one of Australia's most popular baits on hand, the Australian Pilchard(also known as a Mulie). The Australian Pilchards are actually sardines(sardinops neo pilchardus).They are an extremely versatile bait and are used to catch a wide variety of fish such as snapper and dhufish offshore and tailor,salmon and mulloway from the beach. They can also be used in piece or strip baits for bream through to herring and other bread and butter fish.

Mulies are by far the most popular choice amongst anglers especially beach fishers as their profile is best suited to gang hooks and result in some amazing catches. These little oily, flavour filled fish attract many different species. Australian Pilchards have been commercially fished in WA since the 1950's for the main supply of bait and feed for the Tuna Farms.
